The Xiamen Golden Sands Gulf Hotel (Jin Sha Wan Jiudian) is located in the middle part of Huandao Lu, which is often regarded as an Oriental Hawaii. The International Exhibition Center is located to the north of the hotel while Nan Putuo Temple and Xiamen University are to its south. Yefeng Village, Wanyue Slope and Haiyun Stage are on its left while the two Jinmen, Dadan Island and Erdan Island are on its right.
